Intoxicating injections, heroin seized

Phagwara: The police have seized 27 intoxicating injections and 10 gm of heroin from Pardeep Kumar, a resident of Donewal Kuhurad village, and Davinder Kumar, a resident of Urban Estate, Phagwara. Fifteen injections were recovered from Pardeep Kumar and 12 injections and 10 gm of heroin was recovered from Davinder Kumar. The police have registered two cases under the NDPS Act

Poppy husk seized

Phillaur: The police seized 77.5 kg of poppy husk from Deepak Kumar and Vishal Kumar, both residents of Akalpur Road, Phillaur, and arrested them. The poppy husk was kept in two bags of apples. A case has been registered. — OC
