Jalandhar: The district reported a spike of 103 cases in the district, taking the tally to 2,517 on Sunday. The district reported two more deaths, taking the toll to 62. Of the two casualties, one is an 87-year-old man, who was admitted to the Indian Medical Association facility, and the other is a woman. Besides 103 positive cases, 11 persons, who tested positive, are from other districts. Of the fresh cases, 73 tested positive at Faridkot labs, 24 at private labs, seven using TruNat testing and seven via antigen tests. Meanwhile, Kapurthala district reported nine positive cases on Sunday. The patients include a 50-year-old woman from Sidhwa Dona, a 20-year-old youth from the RCF, a 35-year-old man from Tibba, three CRPF personnel aged 48, 52 and 24, 30-year-old man from Subhanpur and a 52-year-old police personnel from the Central Jail in Kapurthala.
