Jammu, October 31

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) in Katra is participating in the 14th FICCI Higher Education Summit — a global conference and exhibition on the theme ‘University of Future’ — at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. The summit, which started on October 30, will end on November 1.

In the summit, the university has received an overwhelming response from visitors from the country and abroad, including academicians, administrators and educational consultants from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Russia, Poland, Nigeria, Iran, Portugal, Maldives, Mexico and Kenya.

A university spokesperson said the foreign delegates were exploring the SMVDU stall for joint collaboration, student exchange, admission and for bilateral ties.

The spokesperson said the university had been gaining recognition and was moving towards becoming an international university. — TNS
