Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has announced application for full time MBA - Mumbai & PGDM - Bengaluru / PGDM - Hyderabad / PGDM - Navi Mumbai / PGDM - Indore programmes for academic year commencing from June 2020. The specialistaions offered include: 

MBA in Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations & Decision Sciences, Analytics, Human Resources & Pharmaceutical Management (across campuses)

PGDM (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai and Indore campuses)

Eligibility: n MBA/ MBA HR/ MBA Analytics and Decision Science (Mumbai Campus): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marksin the aggregate (of all years)

MBA (Pharmaceutical Management - Mumbai Campus) (Selection process is separate)- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. Biotechnology from a recognised University with minimum 50 per cent marks in the aggregate (of all years). Post Graduate degree holders in Economics, Psychology and Sociology, along with BTech. Bio-Tech. BTech. Bio-Medical, BE BioTech., BE Bio-Medical can also apply. 

Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are preferred.

n PGDM (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore Campus): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marksin the aggregate (of all years)

MTech in Astronomical Instrumentation

The Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) invites applications for admissions to Integrated MTech-PhD Programme in Astronomical Instrumentation in collaboration with Department of Allied Optics and Photonics, University of Calcutta.

IIA conducts the following two graduate programs leading to PhD. degrees:

n PhD, jointly with Pondicherry Central University, and

n Integrated MTech - Ph.D., jointly with University of Calcutta

The course duration is six years, including two years for the Master Degree.

Eligibility: MSc (Physics)/Integrated MSc (Physics)/ BE/BTech/ME/ MTech. degree by June 2020 with 55 per cent marks or more

A 96 percentile in JEST (Physics)/ GATE (Physics), or have a UGC-CSIR-NET Junior Research Fellowship is required, else candidates will have to appear for the IIA screening test (IIAST).

n IIAST exam: December 14, 2019

n Ph. D Interview: December last week, 2019

n M. Tech - Ph.D Interview: May 2020
