Internship and training platform, Internshala, has launcheda summer internship fair that will bring 1000+ exciting summer internship opportunities for students and recent graduates across India. Each internship opportunity in the fair offers a minimum stipend of Rs 10,000/month.  

The fair includes internships for students from diverse educational backgrounds and all years of study in popular brands like OYO Rooms, Decathlon, CRY, HDFC Life, WWF India, Delhivery, and Zomato along with top academic institutions like IITs and IISc. In addition to this, the fair also brings work-from-home internship opportunities, internships with job-offers, and off-beat internships in fields like filmmaking and natural language processing.

The students can also participate in various contests starting from March 7 onwards and win an opportunity to get a direct entry to the interview round of popular brands. Additionally, few lucky students stand a chance to get early access to the internships, win goodies, or an opportunity to interact with the CEO of Paisabazaar.com, Naveen Kukreja, and the CEO of Careers360, Maheshwar Peri, over a lunch.

Delhi School of Economics team wins quiz contest

The team of Delhi School of Economics emerged victorious at the regional rounds of inter-college quiz contest — ‘Numero YONO’ held in New Delhi recently. DSE team bagged annual scholarship of Rs 2.16 lakh. As many as 127 teams from multiple colleges in the city participated in the contest. The first runner up of this competition was Campus Law Centre (CLC) Faculty of Law that won annual scholarship of Rs 1.44 lakh whereas Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) was the second runner up and received a one-time amount of Rs 12,000.

‘Numero YONO’ - presented by State Bank of India, is conducted across all 17 cities where SBI Local Head Offices are located. In the Grand Finale, 17 teams from 17 cities will compete with each other for the top spot to win the total scholarship of Rs 5.76 lakh at Mumbai in March, 2019. The 17 cities include Ahmedabad, Amravati, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Pune and Thiruvananthpuram.
