The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) in collaboration with Kingston School of Art, London, offers undergraduate programmes in fashion design, fashion business management, communication design and interior architecture and design. It also offers postgraduate programmes in fashion design and fashion business management. 

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed their Class XII examination (or equivalent) in any stream (science, commerce, humanities or arts) are considered eligible to apply. Those who are appearing for their Class XII examination in 2019 or are awaiting their results may also apply. For postgraduate programmes, graduation is mandatory from any recognised university or institutes.

How to apply: Candidates must submit their application form along with necessary documents by registering themselves at IIAD’s online application portal. 

Offline: Alternatively, interested candidates can visit the campus, collect the application form and submit it along with necessary documents to the IIAD admissions office.

MBA degree

Xavier Business School (XBS), being launched by St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK), announces two-year, full-time residential MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree programme for the academic year 2019.

Eligibility: Successful completion of any full-time UG degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (or equivalent grade point) in the aggregate. 

Those who are appearing for the final examination during the academic year 2018-19 may also apply.

Appearance for any of the national entrance tests for MBA, such as, XAT, GMAT, MAT, CAT, etc., which is valid for the academic year 2019-20.

NEST  exam 

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai: Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai, have jointly announced the schedule of National Entrance Screening Test, 2019 for the Academic Session 2019-20.

Eligibility: Candidates should be from regular science stream only and preferably should have any combination of three subjects among biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics in Classe XI and XII.

It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to write the NEST 2019 exam.

Candidates who are appearing for the board exam in 2019 must pass it by the time of admission.

Candidates must secure at least 60 per cent marks in aggregate in Class XII exam to be eligible for admission to NISER and CEBS.

PhD programme 

Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD programmes for the year 2019.

Eligibility: Candidates must have a master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent by the corresponding statutory regulatory body of the university, with at least 55 per cent marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.

Who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to September 19, 1991.
