Tell us about 9 Months season 4.

The show is a ground-breaking show solely dedicated to childcare and parenting. The focus, in the fourth season, will be on kids from the age group 2-12. Every single episode will be full of information about the stages that a child goes through, the behavioral pattern he adapts and lastly, how a parent needs to keep adjusting to these stages. 

You are a mom of two beautiful kids. How is motherhood?

At every age, you feel how difficult the phase is and if you’re ever going to get over it. But experience and time teach you better. You then pass that stage only to realise it’s a loop! You will make mistakes aplenty, but what’s important that you need to make peace with it and move on. Raising two kids of different age and gender is something only a mom can do, because she is like Durga. She comes with her many avatars!

How has been your experience in the entertainment industry?

I have had the most amazing time. I took up most of the things that came to me because it was interesting. I got to meet interesting people. With time, I realised that the people I work with are far more important than the work that I am doing. 

You have been an actor, author, VJ, chef among other things. How have you managed to do so many roles?

My acting stint was for a very short span, so I wouldn’t really consider myself an actor. I loved being a VJ. Television was one of the most-exciting experiences of my life. After which I covered cricket, where I travelled and watched matches live. I was simply blown away with the experience. Then I started blogging that was another amazing experience as well. So, it’s just that I enjoy whatever I do. 

Any upcoming projects you are a part of?

I have written a book, titled In Between, which I will be launching soon. It’s a collection of love poems which I wrote two-and-half years back. 

If given a chance, will you and Arshad work together on screen?

Never! He is a very good actor. I am not taking the chance of sharing screen space with him. 

What do you do in your ‘me time’? 

I love travelling. Apart from that, I really like reading. Sometimes I read three books at a time. I also enjoy watching movies.
