Bollywood star, Salman Khan, after several protests and petitions has decided to change the title of his upcoming film from ‘Loveratri’ to ‘Loveyatri’.
Salman Khan’s production stars his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Warnia Hussain.
After the film’s trailer was released some right wing organizations had demanded a change in title as it hurt the sentiments of the majority community.
Things went way out of hand when a case was registered last week against Salman Khan by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).

According to reports Bihar's Muzaffarpur Court, following a complaint, ordered registration of an FIR against Salman Khan and 7 other actors.
Salman Khan tweeted about the title change in his own creative way.
‘Still unacceptable'
A Hindu foundation however has objected to the new name as well. City-based Sanatan Foundation, which moved a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) objecting to the movie’s title, told the Gujarat High Court on Wednesday that the new title ‘Loveyatri’ was still too similar to the Hindu festival 'Navratri'.
The petitioner's lawyer B B Agrawal submitted in the court that the film's tagline—a journey of love—as shown in its posters and promotions could be converted into ‘Love Ki Yatra’.
