Oscar and Grammy-winning music composer and singer AR Rahman recently appeared on talk show host Lilly Singh’s show, A Little Late With Lilly Singh. During the show, Lilly asked Rahman, “In 2020, Selena Gomez said in an interview that she wanted to work with you, did you know that?” Responding to this, Rahman said, “I keep seeing all this stuff… Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez and Madonna, all these people talk about me, but then I never get to meet them because I am on the other side of the world.” He added, “Sometimes you feel that the whole world is one because we all understand beats and we all understand music.”

Meanwhile, Rahman who turned producer and co-writer with the film 99 Songs, took to Twitter on Wednesday and announced that the film would be streaming on Netflix from May 21.
