Ludhiana, June 26
The district today witnessed 29 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to 1,10,303. Meanwhile, one more person succumbed to the virus here today.
A total of 2,289 persons have died due to the virus since March 30, 2020, when the first fatality was reported from the district.
The number of active cases rose to 175. As many as 171 patients are in home isolation, while four are admitted to hospitals.
A total of 36,82,431 samples have been collected so far. Of this, 35,57,327 samples were found negative.
Samples of 4,035 suspected patients were sent for testing today, the results of which are expected shortly.
