28-yr-old man commits suicide in Khanna

KHANNA: A youth of Goh village near here allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the roof of his house.

A youth of Goh village near here allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the roof of his house. The deceased has been identified as Jasvir Singh (28), a resident of Goh village.

As per information, the victim’s wife and two minor children had gone to the wife’s village and Jasvir was alone at home. As usually, he went to bed in his room, but in the morning the family members found his body hanging from an iron rod.

After getting information, the Khanna Police reached the spot and the body was taken to hospital for a postmortem. Later, it was handed over the family members. No case was registered in this regard.

Confirming the incident, SHO, Khanna (Sadar), Baljinder Singh said they were trying to ascertain the real cause of the death.
