61 attend fish farming training camp



Ludhiana, July 17

College of Fisheries (COF), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), organised an-online training programme on fish farming.

As many as 61 candidates, constituting of a diverse group of agriculture, livestock, fish farmers, private and government employees and students attended the programme.

Dr Vaneet Inder Kaur, course director, informed the training programme was tailor-made to infuse an entrepreneurial aptitude among aspiring stakeholders to take up fish farming as a promising business endeavour for livelihood and employment generation, driving to ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

An interactive session was held by progressive fish farmers Jasvir Singh Aujla and Amandeep Kaur. —TNS
