Khanna, May 26

Seven patients were discharged from Isolation Ward of the local Civil Hospital last evening.

Dr Rajinder Gulati, Senior Medical Officer, said six patients, two from Kaddon and four from Doraha, were admitted to the ward 10 days ago. They were discharged as per the revised discharge policy for Covid-19 patients. They had remained asymptomatic with stable vitals during their stay in the ward.

They have been asked to remain in home isolation for seven days. These persons would be visited by members of the Rapid Response Team daily.

The seventh patient, an accused in a case, had tested negative twice during his four-week stay in the ward. He was handed over to the police after his discharge from the hospital.
