Ludhiana: A three-day virtual youth festival “Festiv-o- Pedia-2020” was organised at the school. Events such as Mehfil-e-Saaz\I, dance twirl, peroration, English declamation were organised on both online and offline mode. Principal JP Singh applauded the immense talent of the participants and said, “Such events build friendship across campuses and widen the understanding and cooperation between students.”

The school celebrated the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty under the target ‘Acting Together to Achieve Social and Economic Justice’. Nishi Jain explained the various measures to specially empower people living below poverty line with integrated strategies and overcoming limitations of current plans. Poverty as a complex problem must be addressed at all levels, said Jain.

BCM Kindergarten, Basant Avenue

Students participated in caricature activity with zeal. They described their favourite cartoon characters by speaking a few lines about them. The motive of the activity was to enhance speaking skills and develop confidence among kids.

Green Land Sr Sec Public School

Global Handwashing Day was observed at the school. Principal Baldeep Pandher said many people don’t wash their hands only because they believe that the hands that look clean cannot make them sick. Kids learnt about the right ways of washing hands through interesting and fun-filled activities. TNS
