Ludhiana, November 28

The on-going awareness drive on second wave of Covid-19 was held today at Kitchlu Nagar Market and area surrounding Dhandi Swami Mandir in Civil Lines.

Dr Sarit Sharma, Dr Hitant Vohra and Dr Kirandeep Kaur from DMCH led the drive to inform public about taking proper precautions in view of the possibility of second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.

During the campaign, a team of doctors advised people to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Shopkeepers present were informed that they should avoid going to crowded places, unless absolutely necessary.

Dr Bishav Mohan, Medical Superintendent, Hero DMC Heart Institute, said Unless we make people aware about the problem, we will be failing in our responsibility to make people conscious of taking required preventive measures to keep themselves safe and healthy.
