GN School’s principal attends global event

Principal of Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School Doraha DP Thakur participated in international conference for principals at the SP Jain School of Global Management, Dubai.

A total of 22 principals from all over India participated in a two-day event conducted by the Indian International Teachers Association (IITA). Thakur was the sole representative of Ludhiana district in this conference.

Thakur said, “I came to know about a comparative education system, implemented by different countries. I gave views on ‘Indian education system’.”

He also got a certificate of appreciation by the IITA. Earlier in May, Thakur was conferred upon Dr APJ Abdul Kalam award by the association. The conference was addressed by Nitish Jain, Director, SP Jain School of Global Management.
