Now, 9 am-5 pm timings at PAU Ludhiana

Ludhiana, June 22

All departments of Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) will be functional from 9 am to 5 pm from tomorrow. The instructions about timings in the communication dated June 18 will not be valid.

Balddev Singh Walia, president of PAU Employees Union, said on June 18, PAU had announced new timings of the departments/offices from 7:30 am to 3 pm citing severe summer season as the reason. “But neither we were asked nor that time suited all, so we requested the authorities to change the timings to 9 am-5 pm only. Now, they have changed the timings as per our request and we are happy with that,” said Walia. — TNS
