Dr Mahal said farmers can click the link www.kisanmela.pau.edu to participate in the virtual kisan mela.

He said two interactive links for “Direct seeded rice technology” and “Paddy straw management technologies” will also be provided where PAU experts will address the queries of the farmers. Apart from this, two links of PAU videos and farmer success stories will be shared, he said. Mela route will be pre-recorded showing all the field demonstrations and industry links will also be provided, he added.

Dr Mahal further informed that a provision will be made for online seed sale also on Farm Inputs app. He called upon the farmers and the farm women to participate with full verve in the kisan mela.
