Pensioners’ body slams govt for non-fulfilment of demands

Ludhiana, November 19

A meeting of members of Punjab State Pensioners’ Confederation was held at Pensioners’ Bhawan Ludhiana on Thursday. The attendees slammed the government for failing to fulfill their pending demands.

The meeting was held under the leadership of Bakhshish Singh, state president of confederation. Senior members, including Piara Singh, Prem Agarwal, Karam Singh Dhanoa and Raj Kumar Arora were also present during the meeting.

Spokespersons addressed the gathering about the long-pending demands such as release dearness allowance installments, arrears, implementation of pay commission report, increase in medical allowance and many other demands.
