The complainant, Shamsher Singh told the police that his son had been living with Cheenu for the past few months. On September 12, he came to know that his son was admitted to the ESI hospital. His son told him that he was thrashed by Cheenu’s kin after which he doused himself with petrol and set himself on fire. He succumbed at the PGI on Thursday.
