Two bikes stolen in city

LUDHIANA: The Dehlon police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC against unknown persons for theft of a motorcycle from outside the Gill Road branch of Punjab and Sind Bank on November 8.

The Dehlon police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC against unknown persons for theft of a motorcycle from outside the Gill Road branch of Punjab and Sind Bank on November 8. Khushwant Singh, a resident of Shaheed Karnail Singh Nagar locality lodged a complaint with the police that he had parked his motorcycle, Bajaj Discover (PB-10EM-4067), outside the bank around 12.30 pm on Friday. When he came back after about an hour, the bike was missing.

Yet another motorcycle was stolen from the house of Suresh Kumar, a resident of Balaji Estate in Gaunsgarh village, on the night of October 30.

The complaint said he had parked his motorcycle (PB-10EP-0125) duly locked in the courtyard of his house but when he got up the next morning, the motorcycle was missing. The vehicle had obviously been stolen by unknown persons. The police have registered a case under section 379, IPC, in this regard.
