Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today took a round of the local Civil Hospital and issued necessary instructions to its staff.
He also interacted with doctors on duty and urged them to work wholeheartedly in the service of patients so that they could collectively make the Mission Fateh successful.
He said the district administration was committed to provide the best healthcare facilities to residents.

He said the government had tied up with hospitals such as DMCH, CMCH, Guru Teg Bahadur Charitable Hospital, SPS Hospital and Deep Hospital.
He urged residents to follow all government directions in the interest of society and should not panic. He assured that the district administration as well as the state government was keeping a close watch on all cases and the best healthcare services were being provided to the patients.
The DC said if any person had Covid-like symptoms, they should get their tests done at government hospitals free of cost. If any asymptomatic person was tested positive, he could be sent to home quarantine. He said people should not make Covid a social stigma.
