Eight Pakistani nationals on board a boat were apprehended with 30-kg heroin, valued at Rs 300 crore in the international market, off the Gujarat coast in the Arabian Sea early Thursday morning, the state ATS said.

The Coast Guard said an input was received on April 13 regarding suspected narcotics trafficking by a Pakistani boat off Indo-Pak notional international maritime boundary line.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the consignment was destined for landing on Gujarat shore. — TNS
