CHANDIGARH: Telugu TV actors, Bhargavi and Anusha Reddy, were on Wednesday killed in a car crash in Vikarabad district of Telangana.

Telugu TV actors, Bhargavi and Anusha Reddy, were on Wednesday killed in a car crash in Vikarabad district of Telangana.

Bhargavi (20) and Anusha (21) were returning home to Hyderabad after they finished shooting for a serial.

Car driver Chakri and another person Vinay Kumar travelling in the same vehicle were injured.

The police said the car driver tried to avert the collision when he saw a truck coming from the opposite direction and in the process they hit a tree on the roadside near Appareddy Guda in the early hours on Wednesday. 

While Bhargavi died on the spot, Anusha succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. 

The injured were admitted in a government-run Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad.

Bhargavi was a resident of Nirmal and was played the female antagonist named Nandhika in popular TV show 'Mutyala Muggu'. Anusha was an aspiring actor from Jayashankar Bhupalapally in Telangana.
