We’re stronger post 370 scrapping: PM

Abolition of Article 370 has made India stronger not only within but also globally, sending out the message that India stood united, PM  Narendra Modi said at a rally here today.

Modi spoke at length on revocation of Article 370. “It has saved Jammu and Kashmir of political turbulence,’’ he said. “Only five months into the second term, our government has already taken big and bold decisions. I dare the Opposition to revoke this decision (abolition of Article 370),” the PM said, pointing out that thousands of jawans from Haryana had lost their lives while fighting terrorism.

He said two lakh ex-servicemen in the state had benefited from “one rank, one pension”. On the Rafale deal, the PM said efforts by certain leaders to get the deal cancelled had failed.
