There are no streetlights on the 1-km Chakkar-Power House (Totu) road. At night, it becomes difficult for commuters to pass through the road. Many times, leopards have been sighted on the road. Being a short cut, a large number of people take the road. The Shimla Municipal Corporation is requested to install streetlights on the road.

Traffic jams a routine affair at Panchrukhi
Buses parked near the level-crossing at Panchrukhi disrupts the traffic. Bus operators keep waiting for passengers near the rail track unmindful of the inconvenience being caused to commuters. If the level-crossing is closed, there is chaos all over the place. Parking of vehicles along the narrow road near the level-crossing should be stopped. The district administration should work out a solution.
Satish Sharma, Panchrukhi
