Khalsa College students awarded prizes at annual function


Patiala, February 14

An annual prize distribution function was organised at Khalsa College, Patiala, today during which 153 rolls of honour and 242 college Colours were awarded to the students. Dr Pawan Kumar Singla, Punjab Information Commissioner, graced the occasion with his presence as chief guest.

Dr Ravinderjit Singh presented awards for academics, under the scheme ‘Sadi Beti Sada Maan’, the girl students of the college were encouraged by awarding Mata Gujri Award of Excellence to five best girl students of the college. Five teachers of the college, Prof Sukhmeen Kaur, Prof Gurpal Singh, Prof Rajdeep Singh Dhaliwal, Dr Tejinder Pal Singh and Prof Gurjeet Kaur were honoured for presenting papers in the international conferences.

Dr Pawan Kumar Singla congratulated all students and encouraged them by saying that only hard work was the key to success.
