A Malout court on Thursday extended the police remand of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi till August 1 in the Rana Sidhu murder case.
Rana, a financier, was murdered at Aulakh village near Malout in 2020.
Amid tight security, Bishnoi, the alleged ‘mastermind’ of Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, was produced in the local court at around 6.40am.
He was taken back in 20 minutes.
The court has extended his police remand by four days.
Bishnoi will again be produced in the court on August 1. He was brought here on transit remand from Hoshiarpur on July 21.
