Revenue staff threaten stir

Our Correspondent

Fazilka, January 8

Resentment is brewing among retired patwaris and kanungos, who were re-employed on the contractual basis by the government in the district, as they have not been paid salaries for the past six months.

They will suspend work from January 9 and warn that if they are not paid salary, they will tender their resignations.
