Students of Guru Harkrishan Public Schools, being managed by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC), on Saturday formed a 3.5-km ‘Nanak Panthi Human Chain’ at the India Gate to spread the message of humanity, as propagated by Guru Nanak.
DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa said participation of students from all religions gave a message that the chain had been formed not for a particular religion but for humanity.
Students carried placards with the Guru’s messages, like ‘Save Environment’, ‘Save Water’, ‘Respect Women’, among others. —TNS
