Orchids School launches mega competition series

Orchids – The International School launched its pan India live mega competition series, Orchids – Star Wars on December 18. The first battle in this monthly series was fought in the learning strand of Languages. The pan India intra school competition with focus on STEAM Education competition will allow approximately 30,000 students to participate in batches in various categories.

The academic team of Orchids conceptualised this competition series to boost the healthy competitive spirit and to drive the feeling of belonging among its students, who have been away from school during the pandemic. The students of Orchids will challenge themselves in various strands of learning, viz. language, STEM, Art, Sports, etc. to win the coveted school trophy.

The event received an overwhelming response from students all across India and the first edition was concluded on a successful note. The virtual contest witnessed participation from 48+ branches of Orchids spread across cities: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Gurgaon.

To make the event more interesting and engaging for students, they have been grouped into 7 zones and will compete with each other in their respective zones. The toppers from each group will qualify for Mega Finals – National Champion of Champions Cup that will be organised in March 2022 in Bengaluru. TNS
