SA Jain Senior Model School, Ambala City

Shagun Gupta, a student of the school, was honoured by the Ambala District Administration. She was awarded the certificate of appreciation by Kanwar Pal Gurjar, Minister of Education, Haryana, at the Republic Day function held in Ambala. Shagun had participated in on-the-spot national-level painting competition, organised by the Union Ministry of Power at Gurugram on December 11, 2023. The theme of the competition was “One Earth, One Family, One Future’. On December 14, 2023, Shagun was honoured by President Draupadi Murmu, Rajkumar Singh, Cabinet Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, and Krishna Pal, Minister of State for Power at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. She was given a cash prize of Rs 50,000, an Acer tablet and a sponsored trip to the ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) along with her family. Under the leadership of school Principal Dr Renu Gahlawat and due to the inspiration and hard work of her art teacher Mohan Dhiman, she has achieved the position.
