The school celebrated Republic Day. The day began with a vibrant march past, in which students of all four houses displayed discipline and unity. It was a sight to behold as the national flag was unfurled with utmost respect and honour. The programme featured captivating performances by talented students. Heartfelt speeches highlighted the importance of the democratic values, while soul-stirring patriotic song, poems resonated with the audience, evoking a sense of pride and love for the country. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the students danced to the tunes of patriotism. One of the highlights of the day was the rendition of the national anthem, where the entire school joined in harmony, paying tribute to the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and the vision of our Constitution. Chairman Rev Fr Aju Abraham elaborated on the meaning of ‘Republic’ and urged the students and teachers to be aware of their fundamental rights and duties, and made the children aware that the future of the country lies in their hands. Principal Dr Martin Das Rao highlighted the importance of Republic Day and eulogised the armed forces who consistently remain on guard to protect the country from both natural and man-made disasters, mitigating crisis.
