The school celebrated the 161st birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as the 24th SRIJNODAY -"Vivekanand Smriti Samaroh". The occasion was graced by chief guest Sushil Sarwan, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula, revered Swami Bhitiharananda, secretary Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Chandigarh, and school management committee members. The students expressed their emotions loaded with persistent devotion towards the ideals and preaching of Swami through various activities like kavyanjali, puppetry by moppets, address by Vivekananda, The Vivekananda dialogue, rhythmic yoga, aerobic dance, contemporary conversation, digital logo design in which around 530 students from 40 schools participated in an array of activities organised offline. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a floral welcome. The chief guest felicitated the winners with medals, books, and certificates of appreciation. The running trophy was awarded to DC Montessori School, Sector 13, Chandigarh.
