Techiopu Tara and Rajesh were adjudged the best athletes in the 15th annual athletics meet of the Chandigarh Group of Colleges at Landran today.

Mohammad Karim won the shot put gold, while Kanav Khara claimed the second position. Sukhvir finished in third position. In javelin throw, Sahil Kumar, Deepak and Paras claimed the first three positions, respectively. Rashi won the girls’ javeling throw event, followed by Deepika at second position and Shalika at third. In the girls’ discus throw, Ramneek claimed the top position, followed by Priya Sharma at second position and Diljot Kaur at third. In the boys’ category, Deepak Kumar, Akshat Sharma and Karim claimed the first three positions, respectively. In the boys’ 100m event, Yogesh claimed the top podium position, while Vishal Singh finished second and Lovepreet finished at third spot. Olympian Prabhjot Singh awarded the winners.
