India, Iran To Establish Joint Ventures

NEW DELHI, June 14 (UNI)—External Affairs Minister Dinesh Singh today hoped that the proposed joint economic and trade collaboration between India and Iran would become “an important link” in the efforts to strengthen the economic relations between the Asian countries.



NEW DELHI, June 14 (UNI)—External Affairs Minister Dinesh Singh today hoped that the proposed joint economic and trade collaboration between India and Iran would become “an important link” in the efforts to strengthen the economic relations between the Asian countries. In a talk with newsmen, Mr. Dinesh Singh said efforts were being made to enlarge the area of co-operation between India and Iran. He indicated that the agreement would be worked out in such a way that other countries in the region could also join later. The External Affairs Minister said the agreement would provide for the two countries to establish joint undertakings in both.
