Sridevi’s ashes immersed in Ganga

DEHRADUN:Boney Kapoor immersed the ashes of Sridevi in the Ganga today.

Boney Kapoor immersed the ashes of Sridevi in the Ganga today.  He was accompanied by his brother-in-law Anil Kapoor, senior politician Amar Singh and other close family friends.  

  They arrived at the Jollygrant airport at 12.50 pm, from where they left for Haridwar.  After performing rituals, they immersed the ashes in the VIP ghat. 

Uttarakhand Cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal also reached Haridwar and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. After the immersion of the ashes, the grief-stricken family left for Dam Kothi. Later in the evening, they left for Mumbai. On February 24, Sridevi died of accidental drowning in Dubai. Her last rites were performed in Mumbai on February 28.
