Amritsar IIM to hold HR conclave

AMRITSAR: IIM-Amritsar, the 15th Indian Institute of Management being set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, is going to conduct the maiden HR conclave ‘Yukti’ on September 8 in the city.

IIM-Amritsar, the 15th Indian Institute of Management being set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, is going to conduct the maiden HR conclave ‘Yukti’ on September 8 in the city.

The central theme of the conclave is ‘Contemporary HR: Fostering Organisational innovation and Creativity’.

Speakers at the event will be bringing out recent developments in their respective fields.

The objective of the conclave is to offer a forum for the industry and academia to come together and share the latest knowledge and practices in the field of business.

The conclave aims to harness this power of HR by envisaging how it could help achieve growth that is sustainable for any organisation and would host eminent HR managers from diverse industries who have expertise and experience of their areas.

Prominent industry leaders such as Biju Sabastian — Apollo Tyres (HR head), Bijender Vats — MSD India (HR director), Sharad Verma — Polaris (HR head), Ajay Bhatia — Innodata INC (HR head, global) and many more are scheduled to speak at the event. These speakers will be split in three panels and each panel will comprise 3-4 speakers. Each panel will hold discussion for around 90-100 minutes.
