Punjab Cabinet Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria on Friday inaugurated Bhai Vir Singh Auditorium at Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School.
The minister felicitated 55 school teachers across all Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) Charitable Society.
Speaking on the occasion, president CKD, Nirmal Singh, said: “The auditorium has been built with world-class infrastructure. It has computer controlled stage lighting, and seating arrangement of 550 people. This has been constructed in memory of poet Bhai Vir Singh.”
Cultural items were also presented by staff members. The cabinet minister appreciated the work being carried out by CKD and said: “The management of the Chief Khalsa Diwan has been doing a great work. They should open maximum number of institutions in small villages and towns.—TNS
