A video of songs rendered by Lok Sangeet Mandali (Jida) dedicated to the Kamagatamaru ship episode associated with the ‘Ghadar’ movement, a rebellion against the British Raj during World War I, will be released at the Teachers Home on December 25, a press release said here today.
The coordinator of Jida and the lead singer, Jagsir Jida, said the videos had been shot in different locales in the state associated with the Ghadar movement, including Bhotna, Jida, Buttar, Bakhooha and Cheema. — TNS
