Muktsar: The Kotbhai police have booked four persons for allegedly duping a resident of Chhateana village here of nearly Rs12 lakh on the pretext of sending his brother to Canada.



Muktsar: The Kotbhai police have booked four persons for allegedly duping a resident of Chhateana village here of nearly Rs12 lakh on the pretext of sending his brother to Canada. The complainant, Jagsir Singh, told the police that Baljit Singh Malhi, Kamaljeet Kaur, Palwinder Singh and Pinky, all residents of Jalandhar, had taken money from him for sending his brother to Canada, but they sent him to Cambodia. A case of fraud has been registered against the suspects in this regard.
