Students take oath to Keep surroundings clean

BATHINDA: Volunteers of the NSS unit of SSD Girls’ College of Education, Bathinda, celebrated ‘Swachta Pakhwar’ under the guidance of Principal Dr Anu Malhotra, Programme officer Maninder Kaur and Shikha.

Volunteers of the NSS unit of SSD Girls’ College of Education, Bathinda, celebrated ‘Swachta Pakhwar’ under the guidance of Principal Dr Anu Malhotra, Programme officer Maninder Kaur and Shikha. A seminar was organised on the college campus on Swachta in the seminar hall where Soni Bansal discussed various aspects of environment and students took oath to keep their surroundings clean and green. A one-day NSS camp was organised on the college campus. Students participated enthusiastically and decorated their college campus. Management, principal, staff and students held a tree plantation and made sure that they would take care of all these plants. — TNS
