Tech varsity to hold placement drive on Aug 16

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, is conducting a placement drive on August 16 on the university campus.

In a press release issued here on Monday, the training and placement officer of the MRSPTU, Rajesh Gupta, said the drive for 2018 pass-out B Tech students (CS/ IT/ ECE/ EEE/ E&I/ mechanical/automobile/production engineering/aeronautical/ mechatronics) would be held for aspiring candidates.

The students from across the state are eligible to participate in the drive, he added.

Gupta said the students may register at https://careers.wipro.com/campusengineering.aspx.

The students can visit the university website: mrsptu.ac.in for details.

Gupta said only registered students would be allowed to participate in the drive.

On the spot registration will not be permitted. WIPRO is offering a package of 3.2-5.0 lakh per annum. Interested students can contact 87250-72440, 442 for any query.

“Every year the number of companies coming to hire MRSPTU students increases. This year too, we are expecting a large number of big companies. Students should check the university website regularly to get updates about the companies coming for hiring,” the spokesman further said.
