Sensex opens on a positive note

MUMBAI: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE opened at 36,279.63, touched a high of 36,375.80 and a low of 36,278.84.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE opened at 36,279.63, touched a high of 36,375.80 and a low of 36,278.84.

It is trading at 36,322.02, up by 168.40 points or 0.47 per cent from its Tuesday’s close at 36,153.62.

On the other hand, the broader 50-scrip Nifty at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 10,870.55 after closing at 10,831.40 points.

The Nifty is trading at 10,882.65 in the morning. IANS
