4 arrested with ganja, banned injections

CHANDIGARH:The police have arrested four persons from different parts of the city while possessing ganja and banned injections.

Chandigarh, December 10

The police have arrested four persons from different parts of the city while possessing ganja and banned injections. According to the police, Virenji Yadav was arrested from near the road dividing Sector 22/23 while possessing 500 grams of ganja.

Sources said the accused used to stay near a liquor shop and operate from there. In another, case, Vicky, a resident of Sector 56, here, was arrested from the Industrial Area-I while possessing 300 grams of ganja.

The police arrested Ajay, a resident of Sector 56, while possessing 22 banned injections. The accused was arrested from near Nirankari Bhawan, Mauli Jagran.

The fourth arrest under the NDPS Act was made by the Crime Branch. The accused, Deepak Singh Rawat, alias Kancha, a resident of News Indra Colony, Mani Majra, was arrested while possessing 30 banned injections. The accused was arrested from Maloya. Cases have been registered against all accused.
