Baba shifted to Mohali Civil Hospital

After getting Dilpreet Singh’s seven-day police remand, the Punjab Police immediately shifted him to the Mohali Civil Hospital at Phase 6 on Tuesday evening.

Talking to Chandigarh Tribune, Mohali SP (Detective) Harbir Singh Atwal said after conducting his medical check-up, Baba has been shifted to the first floor of the hospital under tight security there.

“We have deputed around 15 personnel on the floor to keep a strict vigil. Apart from this, cops have been deputed at all sensitive points in and around the hospital,” said SP Atwal.

Earlier, Baba was brought here by the Mohali police in an ambulance from Chandigarh. He remained in the ambulance at the court.

Sources claimed the Duty Magistrate came to the ambulance to talk to the miscreant due to his poor health before sending him to seven-day police remand.
