Chandigarh, May 23

AAP candidate Harmohan Dhawan’s house, which till yesterday was bustling with activity, wore a deserted look today. Anticipating defeat, only a few AAP workers turned up at his house.

The trend emerging while counting of votes was under way disappointed Dhawan, who then preferred to remain indoors. The gates of his house, which were open for visitors till yesterday, were closed and only select people were allowed to enter.

Dhawan preferred to stay away from the media as well. The guards at the gate of his house denied entry to journalists.

Dr Sheenu Aggarwal, media coordinator of the AAP leader, said although Harmohan Dhawan was not meeting people, there was some miscommunication that the gate staff denied entry.

“They were not asked to deny entry to anyone in the house,” she added.

There was a lull in the lane in front of Dhawan’s house with just a few cops present there to ensure law and order.
