CHANDIGARH:The British School, Sector 44, won both the boys’ and girls’ titles on the concluding day of the State Junior Rugby Championship at the Panjab University grounds here on Wednesday.

Chandigarh, May 22 

The British School, Sector 44, won both the boys’ and girls’ titles on the concluding day of the State Junior Rugby Championship at the Panjab University grounds here on Wednesday. 

In the girls’ final, Anshul scored 10 goals to help The British School register a 10-0 win over St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44. 

Government Model Senior Secondary School, Dhanas, defeated PML SD Public School, Sector 32, 5-0 to claim the third position. Pinki scored all the five goals for the Dhanas outfit.

In the boys’ final, The British School drubbed St Joseph’s School 10-0. Ashish and Gaurav scored five goals each for the winners.

PLM SD School overcame Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 38 (West), 20-15 to finish third in the competition.
