Hockey Patiala will take on Bengaluru Hockey Association, while Hockey Maharashtra will face Sports Authority of India in the quarterfinals of the 9th Hockey India Senior National Hockey Championship 2019 (Men) B Division.
Sashastra Seema Bal will compete with Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu and Central Secretariat would be up against Food Corporation of India.
On Wednesday, Hockey Coorg missed out a chance to make it to the quarterfinals after they were held to a goalless draw by All India Police Sports Control Board.
Sports Authority of India blanked Hockey Madhya Bharat 2-0 to make it to the last-eight. Boby Singh Dhami (33rd) and Mohit Kumar (56th) scored a goal each for SAI.
In an inconsequential match, Steel Plant Sports Board drubbed Goans Hockey 12-0. Amit Kumar (19th, 23rd, 50th) scored a hat-trick, while Nabin Kujur (2nd, 11th), Jay Patel (4th, 53rd) and Rajat Minz (10th, 52nd) scored a brace each for Steel Plant Sports Board. Lokesh Vats (33rd), Innocent Munda (36th) and Susarun Purty (40th) added a goal each to the tally.
