Poor response to e-auction of numbers

The e-auction of registration numbers for the series CH01-BN got a poor response on the first day. 

Only one number crossed the Rs 1 lakh bid. CH01-BN 0001 got the highest bid of Rs 1.20 lakh against the reserve price of Rs 30,000. 

The bidding will close on July 27. Among the other numbers, CH01-BN-0005 fetched Rs 61,000, CH-01-BN-0009 was the third favourite number as it attracted a bid of Rs 60,000 against the reserve price of Rs 30,000. Successful bidders will be required to get their vehicles registered as well as deposit the balance bid amount within a month from the date of auction.
